Shipping Hazardous Materials
If you ship hazardous materials to, from or within the United States, no matter which mode of transport used employers and employees must comply with the training requirements setforth in 49 CFR, Subpart H, 172.700.

Hazardous Materials Transportation 49CFR
In this course employees who directly affect the safe transport of hazardous materials will be trained in the following areas:
Hazardous Materials Shipped by Air (IATA)
The FFA and Office of Homeland Security have increased air shipment inspections. Air carriers require hazardous material shipments to be prepared according to the International Air Transportation Association (IATA). Carriers also require documentation of current training. In this course you will be trained in the following areas:
Hazardous Materials Shipped by Vessel (IMDG)Training is required for compliance with the International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) code to ship hazardous materials by vessel for both domestic and international transportation. In this course you will be trained in the following areas:

HazMat Cleanup
HAZWOPER provides employee protection requirements for workers engaged in hazardous waste operations including emergency response to hazardous material incidents. Employors must certify that their workers have received training appropriate to their level of responsibility and activity.
OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 affects three categories of workers:
1. Workers involved in hazardous waste or materials cleanup activities at government identified sites.
2. Workers involved in storing, treating, or disposing of hazardous waste.
3. Public and private sector workers involved in emergency response to the release of any hazardous materials.
Compliance is required. Our courses will ensure your workers are properly trained to avoid personal injury and fines.
